Sky Zone reached out to us to help them promote the grand opening of their Biloxi location
Due to the success we’ve had with the Evansville location, Sky Zone reached out to us to help them promote the grand opening and continued marketing of their new location in Biloxi, Mississippi. We were brought in 3 months before opening. The goals SkyZone Biloxi wanted to accomplish in that timeframe were creating local interest for the new store and recruiting to fill out the staff to be at full capacity and trained in time to open.
Here’s how we went about accomplishing these goals:
For the recruitment we knew we had to identify good fits for the available positions, create ad copy that clearly articulated the positions’ benefits, and decide where to place the ads to best be seen by relevant candidates.
Then, we created ads about the positions. We utilizedFacebook ads for this campaign. Our targeting for Facebook was to reach users who had displayed interest in entry-level jobs, part-time positions, and job fairs. The ads were then linked to the Sky Zone Biloxi Job Application page.
We also made a separate ad for a Sky Zone job fair with the listed positions they would be hiring for, with the goal to draw as many applicants as possible to the event.
Building awareness was the primary goal for the campaign in the run up to the opening. For this we built out a multi-step plan. We wanted to take the audience from knowing nothing of the park to going to the opening, bringing their kids to future events, and eventually becoming Sky Zone members.
First, we had to decide how to target the audience and on which platforms to serve the ads on. We decided to use YouTube,Facebook/Instagram, Google Ads, and Addressable Geofencing for the campaign because of the tactics’ abilities to target parents, competitor’s customers, and specific interests.
Then, we put together a coming soon video edited out of content that Sky Zone had provided for us. The video would give audiences a first look at the facility and what sort of activities they could expect at the new park.
After that, we built out static ads to run on the social and display ad platforms. These showed the date of the opening and where the park would be located. For these prior to opening ads we wanted to keep everything as simple as possible to just create awareness of the park and the attractions it offered.
After the Grand Opening, we followed up with a “We’re Open” ad that showcased the facility to finish off the customer journey of intrigue, awareness, and action that we started with the coming soon ads.
Our partnership with Sky Zone Biloxi didn’t end at the GrandOpening, it was only getting started! In the almost year since we’ve been actively updating the campaigns month after month. Each month brings new events and holiday deals to promote so we’re in a constant cycle of planning out the next month, reviewing how last month’s ads performed, and creating new ads for upcoming events. We’re grateful to have a team as active as Sky Zone’s to communicate and work with, and their stellar results are a testament to how hard they’ve worked to make Sky Zone Biloxi a premier destination for family fun.
Sky Zone has had a fantastic year since opening last April.They’ve seen consistently high attendance through the year and amazingly already have the highest membership total of any Sky Zone in the country!
